Riivah Fragrances Launches Debut Parfums at $375, Offering $30 Discovery Sets

Riivah Fragrances, an independent fragrance house founded in 2025 by Dhatri Pandya and Shiv Annapareddy, has launched its first two scents in a line of super premium fragrances. The debut offerings, Blue Salt and Molten Light, were developed in collaboration with Romanian parfumer Anesia Dican, a resident at the Maison Galimard. Each fragrance is hand-crafted to evoke a sense of grace, presence, and quiet confidence in the wearer. This launch signals the entry of a new player in the high-end fragrance market, with prices set at $375 for a 50 ml bottle, positioning Riivah alongside established luxury brands.

Blue Salt is a coastal composition that opens with bergamot, grapefruit, and clean accord before transitioning into marine accord, black tea, and white flowers. Its base of white musk, cedarwood, light leather, and amber provides structure, resulting in a fresh profile with mineral depth and quiet texture. Molten Light moves in a warmer direction, opening with juicy citrus pineapple before unfolding into mango, red fruits, iris, green tea, and kiwi. It settles into musk, sweet gourmand, sandalwood, and amber, creating a warm, fruit-forward profile with quiet depth. Both fragrances are presented in a weighted obsidian-black glass vessel, with a label drawing from a "roaring twenties" meets South Asian aesthetic. The packaging aims to draw wearers in through restraint rather than spectacle.

Cofounder Dhatri Pandya said of the launch, "Our goal with Riivah was to build fragrances that could stand up against any luxury brand in the world while staying rooted in personal authenticity." Annapareddy added, "Both of these scents tell a story about our deep familial connection to scent, our heritage, and our personal stories." The company's name derives from the Sanskrit word "rivah," meaning "one that moves" or "one that flows." This emphasis on heritage and personal narrative differentiates Riivah in a crowded market, where consumers increasingly seek authenticity and storytelling behind products.

Both fragrances are available exclusively through the brand's website. Full-sized 50 ml bottles are priced at $375 each, while discovery sets featuring 2 x 2 ml bottles are available for $30 each. Holiday gift sets are expected to be available in the online store shortly. To learn more, visit Riivah Fragrances. The launch of Riivah represents a notable development in the independent fragrance sector, particularly in California, where a growing number of niche brands are challenging traditional luxury houses. With its premium pricing and focus on personal stories, Riivah aims to attract discerning consumers who value craftsmanship and distinctiveness. The availability of affordable discovery sets may also lower the barrier for new customers to experience the scents before committing to a full bottle. As the brand expands its line over the coming year, it could further intensify competition in the super premium fragrance space, offering consumers more options that blend luxury with authenticity.
