The inaugural AI+OPC Innovation and Development Conference convened from June 29 to 30 in Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, bringing together approximately 400 delegates from government, industry, finance, and AI enterprises to advance the one-person company (OPC) model empowered by artificial intelligence. The event underscores Hangzhou's strategic push to become a national benchmark hub for AI+OPC entrepreneurship.
During the opening ceremony, officials released the 2026 national OPC development observation report, Hangzhou's 2026–2028 action plan and supporting policies for building the AI+OPC hub, and a catalog of actionable AI+OPC application scenarios. Key milestones included plaque awards for priority incubation communities, the launch of the AI+OPC Community Alliance, and the official kickoff of the national AI+OPC entrepreneurship hub construction.
Keynote speakers included Pan Yunhe, former executive vice president of the Chinese Academy of Engineering; Liang Gui, former executive vice governor of Jiangxi Province; and Zou Ling, head of Hong Hub, a single-member unicorn startup accelerator. A panel dialogue featured representatives from Moshu OPC Community (Beijing E-Town), Soochow University's School of Future Science and Engineering, Qingju Hub·Future Digital Intelligence Port, and Puhua Capital.
Concurrent events included an OPC capital-industry matchmaking salon, a symposium on industry-education integration, and a national exchange forum for AI+OPC community practitioners. The conference highlighted OPC as a vibrant engine for economic vitality and high-quality development, leveraging the creative energy of millions of independent super-individual operators to fuel Hangzhou's super-individual economy and provide replicable solutions for smart economy growth nationwide.
