BRYTR DAYS Launches Once-Daily Nutritional Drink to Support Everyday Wellness

BRYTR DAYS, a new nutrition company, has launched its first product, Daily Nutrition for Real Life, a once-daily nutritional drink designed to help individuals meet the demands of everyday life. The company was founded by Kelly Krpata, whose personal experiences—including surviving a grizzly bear attack and two diagnoses of Stage 4 colorectal cancer—shaped his perspective on health and resilience. Rather than promoting extreme optimization, BRYTR DAYS emphasizes simplicity and consistency in daily nutrition.

Krpata's journey began during a hiking trip in Glacier National Park as a University of Michigan graduate student, when he was mauled by a grizzly bear. The incident, later featured in National Geographic Adventure, required surgery to repair severed muscles and multiple puncture wounds. More than two decades later, he faced two separate diagnoses of Stage 4 colorectal cancer. Between these events, he built a career on Wall Street and at Silicon Valley startups, married his wife Anita, and raised two daughters. These experiences led him to value ordinary days and the energy needed to show up for family, work, and community.

“Going through cancer changes what you pay attention to,” says Krpata. “You stop thinking about living an extraordinary life and start appreciating ordinary ones. You want enough energy for your family, your work, and the people you care about. You realize most people aren't trying to optimize every moment. They're simply trying to have more good days.”

That perspective became the foundation for BRYTR DAYS. Krpata observed that modern life—characterized by busy schedules, stress, inconsistent meals, and poor sleep—has outpaced traditional nutritional habits. Instead of asking people to adopt another complex routine, he asked how nutrition could better support the life people already live. This question brought together family members, friends, and scientists to explore nutrient forms, interactions, and formulations. The result is a once-daily drink built on three principles: choose the right ingredients, understand the right interactions, and find the right ratios. Internally, the team calls these the Three Rs.

To bring the company to life, Krpata asked his wife, Anita, to serve as CEO. The two met as students at the University of Michigan and have since built a life together, navigating cancer diagnoses and now building a business. “I've always believed discovering an idea and building a company are two different jobs,” says Krpata. “Anita has always been exceptional at turning answers into action. I didn't want someone who thought like I did. I wanted someone who challenged my thinking and could build the company with the same level of care that went into discovering the idea.”

BRYTR DAYS enters a crowded nutrition market, but its focus on simplicity and sustainability may resonate with consumers overwhelmed by complex regimens. The company's philosophy—wellness should support your life, not become your life—positions it as a potential alternative for those seeking manageable daily nutrition.
