Türkiye's Ministry of Trade has partnered with global trade data platform TradeInt to offer a grant that gives local consulting businesses funded access to shipment records, customs filings, and Bill of Lading data from more than 200 countries. The initiative is designed to place verifiable trade evidence directly in the hands of the advisors that Turkish exporters and importers depend on, enabling them to provide more accurate and timely guidance.
The collaboration comes as Türkiye solidifies its role as a vital trade bridge between Europe, Central Asia, and the Gulf. Three major corridors now connect the country to these regions, and a route reactivated through Syria in 2025 has already facilitated over 5,000 TIR carnet shipments, with some reaching Riyadh from Gaziantep in just 3.9 days, according to the International Road Transport Union (IRU). TradeInt's analysis of 2025 trade data reveals that Türkiye's exports reached $269.7 billion, including a record-breaking $22.6 billion in September alone. IRU President Radu Dinescu attributed this surge to global supply chain pressures, stating, "Geopolitical tensions and disruptions to traditional supply chains are increasing demand for faster, more flexible, more resilient and more predictable transport alternatives."
With access to TradeInt's platform, consulting firms can verify whether a potential buyer is actively importing a client's product, examine a supplier's export history, monitor competitors' shipment activities, or construct market-entry strategies based on current data rather than static directories. These capabilities address the routine questions clients bring to their advisors—questions that a conventional company database cannot answer. TradeInt emphasizes the economic impact: better-equipped consultants can help more Turkish import-export firms capitalize on the country's strategic corridor position, diversify into new markets, and close deals faster. Each additional shipment moved translates into revenue and jobs in logistics and trade services, reinforcing the value of Türkiye's role as a link between Europe, Asia, and the Gulf.
"This collaboration reflects something we hear from consulting firms in Türkiye constantly: access to reliable global trade data can change the quality and speed of the advice they provide," said Eric, Chief Executive Officer of TradeInt. "By bringing TradeInt's platform closer to the consulting community, we aim to help more businesses discover opportunities, make better-informed trade decisions, and grow their international presence."

Both TradeInt and Türkiye's Ministry of Trade view this collaboration as part of a shared effort to foster a more informed and connected trade environment. The ultimate measure of success will be more Turkish importers and exporters making faster, better-evidenced decisions, and converting the country's strategic corridor position into tangible trade outcomes. This partnership not only strengthens Türkiye's trade ecosystem but also sets a precedent for how data-driven consulting can drive economic growth in an increasingly complex global market.
