Toblerone has announced a collaboration with Swarovski to create the Toblerone Crystal Bar crafted by Swarovski, a hand-made crystal replica of the original chocolate bar. The initiative, called "The Ultimate Gift," aims to raise funds for charity through auctions held at major airports and online from July 1 to July 31, 2026.
The crystal bar is modelled on the original Toblerone chocolate bar, measuring 305mm in length and weighing 851g. Each bar features 546 individually cut facets and requires 140 hours of development plus 65 hours of production, all done by hand using high-precision cutting technology. The bars are individually numbered and certified.
Auctions will take place at airports in Athens, Delhi, Doha, Dubai, Frankfurt, Madrid, New York JFK, Singapore, and Zurich. Each auction is linked to a local charity partner chosen by the airport, with 100% of winning bids donated to those organizations. Bidding is also available online via the auction site, with more information on the charities provided.
Iain Livingston, President of Toblerone & World Travel Retail, stated: "Toblerone has always been more than a chocolate bar. It's a ritual, a symbol of travel, and one of the world's most recognised gifts. Creating the Toblerone Crystal Bar crafted by Swarovski feels like a natural expression of who we are: a brand that takes quality seriously but never takes itself too seriously."
In addition to the crystal bar, Toblerone is launching a limited-edition Ultimate Gift Box adorned with Swarovski crystals, available exclusively in World Travel Retail during the campaign period. The box contains a standard Milk Toblerone bar.
The collaboration highlights the shared values of both brands, rooted in Swiss and Austrian heritage and a commitment to quality. Swarovski, founded in 1895 in Austria, is known for its crystal craftsmanship, while Toblerone has been produced in Bern, Switzerland since 1908.
