Philanthropist Morad Shaker Launches Founder-Funded Foundation for American Service Heroes

Philanthropist and entrepreneur Morad Shaker announced the public launch of the Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes, a Wyoming nonprofit corporation founded and funded entirely by Shaker. Headquartered in Cheyenne, Wyoming, the Foundation is dedicated to honoring, recognizing, and building future opportunities for America's military, veterans, first responders, public-safety personnel, government service communities, and their families. The Foundation's Employer Identification Number is 42-3934033, and it is active and in good standing as a Wyoming nonprofit corporation. Its official website is https://www.shakerfoundationforamericanserviceheroes.org/.

The launch marks the realization of a commitment Shaker made more than two decades ago. Over the years, he developed close relationships with military personnel and first responders, witnessing their discipline, loyalty, sacrifice, and commitment to protecting their communities and country. That respect became the foundation for the organization now being launched. "This vision stayed with me for more than two decades," said Morad Shaker, Founder and President. "I gave it time, planning, thought, and purpose. Now, in 2026 and 2027, the dream is beginning to become real."

Unlike many nonprofits, the Shaker Foundation for American Service Heroes is founder-funded and will not solicit or accept donations from individuals, governments, political groups, religious groups, companies, organizations, or foreign entities. "This is not another nonprofit organization created to ask the public for money," Shaker said. "This Foundation is founder-funded. The plan is to serve—purely, independently, and with dignity. We are not seeking donations, government money, political support, religious funding, corporate sponsorship, or funding from any country or outside organization. We know how to serve, and we will serve."

The Foundation's mission is designed as a long-term, five-generation commitment. It aims to serve both current service members and those who served years ago and are now retired, discharged, disabled, or rebuilding life after service. Its eligibility structure includes active-duty military, National Guard, Reserve personnel, veterans, Gold Star Families, federal law enforcement, homeland security personnel, intelligence and national security professionals, public safety personnel, first responders, emergency services personnel, and families of service heroes. Future programs are expected to include pathways related to recognition, family support, education support, emergency assistance, military and veteran support, and financial-stability planning. Specific opportunities will be announced only after legal, operational, and administrative preparations are complete.

The Foundation is one of eight nonprofit organizations founded and funded by Shaker, whose wider work includes humanitarian, educational, integrity, animal-protection, community, and international service initiatives. He is also leading Shaker Global Poverty Reduction, a multi-continental initiative now in active development. Over the next six months, Operation Bangladesh—its pilot humanitarian program—will continue preparing the foundation for the next stage of this long-term global work. Shaker is also the founder of Shaker Global News, an independent news and public-information platform. More information about Shaker is available at Morad Shaker.

The public launch signals the beginning of the Foundation's next development stage. Additional legal documentation, administrative capacity, direct communication channels, and official announcements are expected to be added to the website. The Foundation invites eligible service-community members, families, units, agencies, veterans organizations, law-enforcement departments, first-responder organizations, and emergency-service organizations to follow its official website and Facebook page for future updates. This launch matters because it introduces a privately funded model of support for America's service heroes, independent of public donations and political influence, with a commitment that spans generations.
