Lowe Group, a top 20 financial public relations and digital marketing agency serving the investment industry, has appointed Stacy Vogel Davis as its new Media & Client Services Director. The announcement, made from the firm's Milwaukee headquarters, signals a strategic move to deepen its media relations capabilities and better serve asset management and wealth management clients navigating an increasingly competitive media landscape.
Davis joins Lowe Group with more than two decades of experience as a journalist and communications leader. She spent nearly a decade in newsrooms, most notably at the Milwaukee Business Journal, where she covered banking, small business, technology, retail, restaurants, and tourism. Her role there extended beyond reporting: she wrote the paper's Table Talk column and blog, appeared as a business news commentator on Fox 6-WITI TV, 620 WTMJ Radio, and WUWM's Lake Effect, and served as associate editor overseeing major awards sections including Forty Under 40, Women of Influence, Real Estate Awards, and Central City Business Awards. Her career began at The Janesville Gazette, covering local government, schools, business, and Rock County, following internships at the Kenosha News and the Daily Herald. She has also freelanced for the Milwaukee Business Journal and BizTimes Milwaukee.
Most recently, Davis served as communications director for The Water Council, a global nonprofit advancing water innovation and stewardship. There, she built relationships with national, trade, and local media, secured coverage in outlets such as Forbes, more than doubled the organization's LinkedIn following, and led branding and launch strategy for a water stewardship verification program. Previously, she led public relations and publications for the Zoological Society of Milwaukee, providing communications leadership for a $25 million capital campaign launch.
Jody Lowe, president and founder of Lowe Group, emphasized the value of Davis's newsroom background: "Stacy spent years on the other side of the pitch, covering banking and business, so she knows what makes a story worth a reporter's time and what doesn't. That newsroom instinct, combined with her in-house experience managing communications programs, is exactly what our asset management and wealth management clients need as they compete for attention in the crowded financial media. We're delighted to welcome her to the team."
Davis holds a bachelor of science degree in journalism, with a minor in Spanish, from Northwestern University.
The hire comes as financial firms face heightened competition for media attention. Lowe Group serves traditional asset managers, ETF sponsors, RIA and wealth managers, alternatives providers, private investment firms, and service providers across the financial industry. By adding a seasoned journalist who understands newsroom dynamics, the agency aims to help clients craft pitches that resonate with reporters and secure meaningful coverage. For businesses in Long Beach and surrounding areas, this development underscores the growing importance of strategic communications in the financial sector, where clear storytelling can differentiate firms and attract investors. As the investment landscape evolves, having professionals who can bridge the gap between complex financial information and compelling narratives may become a key advantage.
