Greenland Mines Completes Bathymetric Survey at Skaergaard, Advancing 2026 Drill Program

Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) has announced the completion of its 2026 bathymetric survey campaign at the Skaergaard Project in southeast Greenland. The survey, which covered more area than originally planned, produced high-resolution seabed data across the fjords surrounding the project. This data has already been used to guide the company's support vessel to a new anchorage within 500 meters of the initial 2026 operational area. The findings are expected to support the creation of official navigational charts, a dedicated navigational safety study, and planning for future large-scale marine shipping operations.

The completion of the bathymetric survey marks a significant step forward for the Skaergaard Project, which is advancing toward an Initial Assessment. The project is a key asset for Greenland Mines, which operates with two divisions: Mining and Biotech. The Mining division focuses on the exploration and development of the Skaergaard Project, as well as the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium (Nd-Pr) rare earths project in southwest Greenland, subject to closing of a previously announced transaction. The Biotech division includes Klotho’s KLTO-202 primary indication for ALS.

In addition to the survey, Greenland Mines has completed all HQ-diameter drill core required for its planned multiton metallurgical bulk sample. The company has now transitioned to NQ-size core drilling for resource definition and geotechnical work through the remainder of the season. A new core shack for logging, sampling, and storage is fully operational. These activities form part of a broader 2026 field program at Skaergaard encompassing resource definition drilling, metallurgical bulk sampling, environmental baseline studies, and infrastructure planning.

The Skaergaard Project is central to Greenland Mines' strategy of building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals, and selected midstream processing opportunities. The company is also advancing its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor vision, which aims to link Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure.

The successful completion of the bathymetric survey and the ongoing drilling program highlight the company's commitment to advancing the Skaergaard Project. The high-resolution seabed data will not only improve navigational safety but also facilitate the planning of future large-scale marine shipping operations, which are crucial for the project's development. The transition to NQ-size core drilling indicates progress in resource definition, bringing the project closer to an Initial Assessment.

This development is significant for the mining industry and the broader critical minerals sector. By advancing the Skaergaard Project, Greenland Mines is contributing to the supply of rare earth elements and other critical minerals, which are essential for various high-tech applications and clean energy technologies. The project's progress also underscores the potential of Greenland as a key player in the global critical minerals supply chain.
