Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS, a prominent Los Angeles cosmetic dentist based in Larchmont Village, is re-launching his annual science scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year. This marks the 11th consecutive year of the program, which provides a $1,200 award to a student pursuing a degree in a science-related field. The scholarship aims to support high school seniors through fourth-year undergraduates who demonstrate academic merit, community service, and financial need.
Eligible applicants must be between the ages of 16 and 28 and majoring in a science discipline. The application window opens on November 1, 2026, and closes on March 31, 2027. The winner will be announced by September 2027. Students interested in applying can find detailed information about the application process and eligibility criteria on the scholarship page at http://www.drkezian.com/science-scholarship/. This past year, the scholarship awarded $1,200 to a deserving candidate, whose achievements are highlighted at https://www.drkezian.com/2026-scholarship-winner/.
Dr. Kezian expressed his enthusiasm for the program, stating, "I'm so proud of all the applicants that applied to our scholarship. All the students were hard working, dedicated, and deserving of the award; but, like many other programs, there had to be one winner. I want to thank each and every one of the applicants and applaud them for their achievements. I decided to start the scholarship again this year to give another student the chance to win. Rewarding students who have significant individual accomplishments can help them reach their objectives and strive for higher education."
The scholarship's focus on science education comes at a critical time when STEM fields are driving innovation and economic growth. By supporting students in these disciplines, Dr. Kezian is investing in the next generation of scientists, researchers, and healthcare professionals. The financial assistance can alleviate the burden of educational expenses, allowing students to focus on their studies and community service. Moreover, the recognition associated with the award can bolster a student's academic and professional profile.
Dr. Kezian is not only a benefactor but also a dedicated practitioner. His dental office, located at 443 N. Larchmont Blvd. in Los Angeles, offers a comprehensive range of services, including cosmetic restorations, endodontic treatments, implant dentistry, emergency cases, and preventive dentistry. He has earned over 5,000 credit hours in numerous specialties and focuses on almost all aspects of dentistry. For those seeking dental care, more information is available at http://www.drkezian.com.
The impact of this scholarship extends beyond the individual recipient. It encourages community service and academic excellence among young people, fostering a culture of giving back and pursuing higher education. As the cost of college continues to rise, such private scholarships play a vital role in making education accessible to talented students regardless of their financial circumstances. The Dr. Arthur A. Kezian DDS Science Scholarship exemplifies how local businesses and professionals can contribute to the development of future leaders in science and technology.
