At CEDIA Expo 2026 in Denver, BZBGEAR unveiled its REEVE™ control system and a comprehensive residential product lineup, aiming to simplify home automation for integrators and end-users alike. The company's new REEVE™ system consolidates video, audio, climate, cameras, and other connected devices into a single interface organized by zones, eliminating the need for multiple remotes, apps, and wall panels.
According to BZBGEAR, REEVE™ is designed to remove complexity from both the rack and the truck roll. The tablet on the wall serves as the controller, eliminating the need for a rack or server PC, which reduces costs and speeds up installations. The system is organized by zones rather than devices, allowing integrators to group spaces as clients live in them, such as living areas, private suites, and outdoor spaces. Scenes enable a single tap to configure every device in a zone, and the system works without internet, with the cloud used only for design, updates, and remote oversight.
REEVE™ is compatible with BZBGEAR AV-over-IP and third-party devices from major brands like Samsung, LG, Sony, Vizio, Sharp, TCL, Hisense, Panasonic, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku TV, and Fire TV, as well as climate systems, professional audio, cameras, lighting, access control, motorized shades, and projection. The ecosystem includes REEVE™ Studio for design, REEVE™ Player for daily use, and REEVE™ Cloud for configuration and updates. REEVE™ software is included with compatible BZBGEAR products, with no license or activation fees.
“Control has always been the part of a residential system where good hardware goes to die—the interface is confusing, the programming is expensive, and the client stops using half of what they paid for,” said Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR. “REEVE™ is our answer to that. One interface, organized around how people actually live in a space, running locally on a tablet with no rack and no server PC.”
In addition to REEVE™, BZBGEAR showcased its residential lineup at Booth C900. The XLink-ONE AV-over-IP family includes the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME, a multicast transceiver over 1GbE with USB 3.1, and the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-PRO, which supports 48Gbps HDMI 2.1, 4K120, video wall and multiview modes, and transmission up to 170 meters over Cat5e. The XTREME-PRO earned AV Technology Best of Show at IBC 2025, and the XLink-ONE family took Best of Show at InfoComm 2026.
The AIR4KAST wireless HDMI family, recognized across four consecutive show cycles, includes the BG-AIR4KAST for retrofit applications, the BG-AIR4KAST-MKX for multi-display setups, and the BG-AIR4KAST-PRO with low latency and KVM support. The company also demonstrated right-sized switching solutions, including a 4x2 matrix at $199 and the BG-4K-VP44, a 4x4 that functions as a seamless matrix, video wall processor, and multiviewer. For 8K readiness, BZBGEAR offers switchers starting at $39 and matrixes starting at $299, while KVM solutions range from $149 for a 2x1 4K model to $999 for a 4x1 with multiview.
The event runs from September 2–4, 2026, at the Colorado Convention Center, with live demonstrations and daily prize drawings, including a BG-AIR4KAST-MKX kit. For more information, visit reeve.bzbgear.com or bzbgear.com.
