BZBGEAR to Demonstrate Full Camera-to-Fiber Broadcast Chain at IBC2026

BZBGEAR, a Sacramento-based manufacturer of professional AV and broadcasting solutions, will present a fully integrated camera-to-fiber broadcast chain at IBC2026 in Amsterdam. The demonstration, set for Hall 11, Stand 11.A26 from September 11–14, 2026, will feature the company's latest products working together as a single system, according to a recent announcement. This end-to-end approach aims to address the common challenge of acquiring, producing, encoding, and transporting high-quality video over long distances, a critical concern for broadcasters and live event producers.

The chain begins with BZBGEAR's award-winning ADAMO auto-tracking PTZ cameras, available in NDI|HX 3 and Dante AV-H versions. The BG-ADAMO-4KND and BG-ADAMO-4KDA models output up to 4K@60Hz over HDMI 2.0 and 12G-SDI, with AI-powered auto-tracking in Presenter and Zone modes, integrated tally lights, and onboard microSD recording up to 1 TB. The BG-ADAMO-JRND and BG-ADAMO-JRDA provide 1080p@60Hz options with 12X to 30X optical zoom. All cameras support single-cable installation for data, power, and control, simplifying setup and reducing infrastructure costs.

Production is handled by the BG-Commander-UltraX, an all-in-one 4K production switcher and PTZ joystick controller with onboard recording. It features four HDMI inputs, a 7-inch touchscreen, 4D joystick, and built-in chroma key, picture-in-picture, and logo overlay. A USB-C webcam output allows direct streaming to conferencing platforms, while camera control is via ONVIF 2.8 and VISCA over IP. This compact unit eliminates the need for a traditional flypack, making professional production more accessible for smaller teams and remote applications.

For encoding, the BG-STREAM-DE offers one-channel SDI/HDMI encoding, decoding, and recording. It supports H.265 and H.264 at up to 1080p@60Hz, with output to 3840x2160p@60Hz, and transport options including SRT, RTMP, HLS, RTSP, and TS over UDP. NDI and Dante AV-H are available under separate license. Audio embed and de-embed via 3.5 mm connectors and USB 3.0 recording provide flexibility and redundancy, ensuring reliable signal delivery for broadcast and streaming workflows.

Finally, the BG-IPGEAR-XTREME-F transports signals over single-mode fiber up to 10 kilometers (6.25 miles) at zero-frame latency. It supports 8K@60Hz 4:4:4 with DSC 1.2a, uncompressed 4K@60Hz 4:4:4, and visually lossless 4K@144Hz 4:4:4, with 48Gbps bandwidth. Full-duplex RS-232, bi-directional IR, CEC pass-through, 1G Ethernet, and USB 3.1 Gen1/Gen2 KVM all run over the same fiber, eliminating ground loops and EMI issues common with copper. This is ideal for stadium-to-truck, studio-to-master-control, or building-to-building links.

Eugene Bocharov, CEO of BZBGEAR, stated, "Every broadcaster we talk to is solving the same problem from four different directions at once — how to acquire it, how to cut it, how to get it on the network, and how to move it across a campus or a city. Showing one box at a time doesn't answer that. So this year we're bringing the whole chain to Hall 11 and running it end to end, and our engineers will be standing next to it for four days. Bring us the path that won't hold and we'll work it out on the stand." This integrated demonstration underscores BZBGEAR's commitment to providing comprehensive solutions that address real-world broadcast challenges.

The implications for the broadcast and AV industry are significant. By offering a complete, interoperable chain, BZBGEAR reduces the complexity and potential compatibility issues that arise when integrating equipment from multiple vendors. This can lead to faster deployment, lower costs, and more reliable operations for broadcasters, live event producers, and integrators. Moreover, the ability to transport high-bandwidth signals over fiber with zero latency opens up new possibilities for remote production and distributed workflows, enabling content creation from virtually any location. For those in the Long Beach area and beyond, BZBGEAR's advancements may signal a shift toward more streamlined and efficient broadcast infrastructures, ultimately enhancing the quality and reach of live productions.

Attendees at IBC2026 are encouraged to bring system drawings, bills of materials, or distance and bandwidth figures for working technical conversations. For more information, visit bzbgear.com.
