Bestselling author Jody Sharpe has announced a new angel story for her Angel Stories channel on YouTube, along with the release of the audiobook version of her bestselling novel, 20 Moon Road. The new story, shared on her channel at https://www.youtube.com/@jodysharpe6337, recounts a real-life encounter where a woman named Judy met an angel at an AA meeting, though at the time he appeared in human form. According to Sharpe, Judy's sister was struggling with drug abuse, and the stranger gave her a message that her sister would be okay. It took thirty years for Judy to tell the story, which Sharpe describes as "a story of intervention which is the greatest gift to give anyone suffering from drug abuse." Sharpe added, "Intervention helped someone in my own family find strength and resolve."
Sharpe also announced the release of the audiobook version of 20 Moon Road, An Angel's Tale, which is book 5 in the Mystic Bay Series. More audiobooks are expected to follow. Sharpe has been collecting angel stories for a long time, drawing from her own experiences and submissions from others, many of which find their way into her bestselling books. She is now actively seeking more real-life angel stories, which can be submitted at her website at https://jodysharpe.com. Not all stories are accepted, but those that are may be included on her YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1zFlB6SCAJg&t=14s and potentially in her next book.
Her latest book, New Angel In Town, is based on stories she has heard throughout the years and is now available. The novel continues the Mystic Bay series, where angels live as humans. In this installment, a new angel, Ron, arrives to ensure his charge, Evan, a boy in foster care, finds a forever home. Writer Noah Greenstreet is writing a film showcasing the townsfolk's angel encounters. With twists and turns, including a bully, Angel Ron must decide whether to stay in the harmonious town. Readers have praised the book, with one Amazon reviewer saying, "Just when I thought I couldn't love the Mystic Bay series more, Jody released the most breathtaking installment yet! Book 7 is a masterclass in child advocacy, true love, & angel-ology that blends emotional depth with a community of compassion." Another reviewer noted, "The angel experiences shared in the book seem real and remind the reader of the meaning of love and how it can change lives." The book is available at Amazon at https://www.amazon.com/stores/Jody-Sharpe/author/B00DPL3382?.
Sharpe's other books include To Catch an Angel, Town Of Angels, Town Of Angels Christmas, The Dog Who Came For Christmas, and Summer Of Angels. She also has a children's book, When The Angel Sent Butterflies, which helps children understand that love surrounds them and that believing in angels can help sweep away fear. In addition, on the "Tuesdays With The Angels" section of her site, Sharpe presents stories of real-life encounters with angels. These stories are available at her website at http://www.jodysharpe.com. She hopes to create a collection of angel stories involving sightings, interactions, and miraculous encounters. Everyone is welcome to submit stories at http://bit.ly/2FV8amd, though inclusion is not guaranteed.
Sharpe's YouTube channel brings all of this together, offering segments on these topics, including bullying as it relates to special needs children. Jody Sharpe had a rewarding career as a Special Education teacher, and writing about angels became healing after losing her daughter and then her husband. Her mission is to tell stories with love, humor, and spiritual awakening. The fictitious town of Mystic Bay has given her an avenue to put characters and themes together, enlightening readers towards contemplation of the precious life and memories we are given.
